ABS Bladesmith

Benjamin Paul Piccola

Below are some of the knives I have forged.  I forge many styles and types of blades, each with its own personality. Each blade is unique in its own way. Sometimes I let the steel itself dictate the form of a knife as I forge the shape.

I can make you any blade style you prefer!
I  grind , harden, and  temper each blade according to the type of steel(s) used for the blade. You can be assured of getting a properly built blade that is tested to ABS performance standards before its delivered!
I forge with several tool steels. (1084, 5160 1095, 01, L6)
I make my Damascus steel with 01, 1084, 15n20 steels.

I have a wide variety of handle material available. Let me know what you would like!
I am available, via email for a request.
paul_piccola@att.net
I do not normally require a deposit,  and I am only available to give you a tentative delivery date. When the knife is finished, then you decide if its what you want and then pay for it!

Knives available  for sale are on the Available  page!

I  will make stainless knives by stock removal method. BUT only by request and with a $50 deposit! I only use CPMS30V, ATS34, or
154CM stainless steels.
